Bubble-wrapped Dreams

Been a while.

15 months and counting,
Yet I sit here with closed eyes
Unsure if I could really write.

I do admit, like always,
I did really try. There were a few pieces
Here & there, yet it never seemed to arrive.

Like a hopeless romantic, however,
I remain firm to find,
The elusive dream, the priceless masterpiece;
Like always, I will try.
